My fiancée and I were married in Brisbane over the long weekend in May in Newstead Park.
We wanted an informal gathering but with an elegant touch and that is exactly what we achieved with the hire equipment we received from GC Event Hire. They had everything we needed and at a far more attractive price structure than any of the hire companies in Brisbane. We hired miles of red carpet for the bride to walk down, chairs, silk chair covers and bows, tables, glasses, cloths and so much more.
Typical of any bride and groom – we changed our minds several times about numbers, layout, size and style of tables – from round to square and back again. Everything we asked for was supplied without mistake and all in absolute first class condition. Everything looked lovely and new – crisp white cloths, the carpet looked brand new and everything delivered on time.
Gary and his team are fabulous to deal with – they were enormously patient with us and our constant changes in plans and numbers – they never got upset – were always cheerful and helpful.
They made suggestions of things we could do or change. Our friends and family keep commenting on how elegant the wedding was – comments have generally been that it was the most beautiful wedding – relaxed and elegant all at the same time!!!
Some of our friends who are getting married later in the year asked for GC Event Hire details and we gratefully recommended them to any young couple looking for hire at their wedding.
